Introduction

Welcome to ManageGo, a property management portal that allows online rent and fee payments, one-time and recurring payments, maintenance and repair request submission and tracking, concierge-related requests, amenity reservations, certain leasing-related and accounting-related features. Certain features are enabled and managed by the applicable property manager, landlord, building operator, management company, or other third-party service providers (the “Portal Service(s)”).

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect and use your information when you use the Portal Services. When you register to the Portal Service or use the Portal Service, you agree to this Policy. If you don't agree to it – just don't use the Portal Service.

The Portal Service is developed and operated by ManageGo LLC, at 199 Montrose Ave, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11206 (“MG”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

The Portal Service is not directed to minors under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information or data from children under the age of 13, or knowingly allow minors under the age of 13 to use the Portal Service. Payments through the Portal Service are available only for users of the age of 18 and above.

This Policy may be amended from time to time. We will post any change to this Policy on our Portal Services at a reasonable time in advance of the effective date of the change, and we will also make efforts to proactively notify you by email of the changes if we have your email address.

Registration is not mandatory, and you do not have to create an account to use the Portal Service. However, if you choose not to provide this information to us, we will not be able to process your feedback, respond to your inquiry and provide you with some of our features that you requested, and you may not be able to use all of our Portal Service functionalities.

What we collect and why

When you register and use our Portal Service

  • Data categories we process when registering to and using the Portal Service: full name, physical address, phone number, email address, username, Information about a person's salary data and financial activity;
  • Data processing purposes: providing you with the functionality of the Portal Service, sending service-related updates and operational communications, contacting you regarding administrative issues related to the Portal Service, responding to support requests, maintaining and improving the Portal Service.

Processing your device information

  • Component type or data categories we process: internet/3G data, internal log-data, data storage components, unique device ID (UDID) or UUID.
  • Data processing purposes: The Portal Services operation, authentication, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, security, analytics, and Portal Service improvement.

When you make online payments for rent and other apartment- or tenancy-related charges

  • Data categories we process: Billing and payment information.
  • Data processing purposes: To facilitate payment of charges directly relating to a tenant’s apartment or property account.

When you provide content to the Portal Service

  • Data categories we process: customer support inquiries, maintenance and repair requests, concierge-related requests, amenity reservation details, leasing-related information, contact information, and other information entered into the Portal Services.
  • Data processing purposes: Providing you with the functionality of the Portal Service you requested.

When contacting MG with an inquiry or feedback

  • Data categories we process: the information you provided in your inquiry/feedback or when using the Portal Services, the subject of your inquiry, and its content.
  • Data processing purposes: Responding to your inquiry or feedback, our business development.

Use of internal analytics on the Portal Service

  • Data categories we process: IP address from which you access the Portal Service, time and date of access, type of device and browser used, language used, links clicked via a mouse or a touch screen, and actions taken while using the Portal Service.
  • Data processing purposes: Facilitating a Portal Service feature that the user specifically requested, analyzing the Portal Service usage to evaluate and improve its performance, improving user experience on the Portal Service.

Methods and sources for collecting your personal information

We collect the personal information from several sources:

  • Directly from you when you use and register to our Portal Service;
  • When you contact us via email, online contact form or by phone;
  • From our service providers helping us to operate the Portal Service.
  • Automatically through the device you use to access our Portal Service, including through internal analytics tools.

Sharing your personal information

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except as described below, or where you provide explicit and informed consent.

Service providers who assist us with the internal operations of the Portal Service. These companies are authorized to use your personal information in this context only as necessary to provide these services to us and not for their own promotional purposes.

  • Purposes for sharing personal information: Operating the Portal Services, and managing our business operations

With other external parties that you interact with through the Portal Services

  • Examples of third parties involved: Property manager, landlord, management company, building staff, service providers, payment processors, screening providers, or other household or property-related third parties in connection with tenancy administration and portal-enabled services.
  • Purposes for sharing personal information: allowing you to interact with the third parties and receiving services from them, such as concierge-related services and requests; the ability to book building amenities, including the children’s playroom, gym, or other reservable common areas, including booking a time slot where required; repair and maintenance request submission and tracking; accounting-related features; and leasing-related features, including tools that allow apartment managers or other authorized personnel to review tenant onboarding or leasing status through the portal.

If you misused your rights to use the Portal Service or violated any applicable law in relation to us.

  • Examples of third parties involved: Competent authorities, legal counsel, and advisors.
  • Purposes for sharing personal information: Responding to, handling, and mitigating suspected violations of law in connection with our business.

If a judicial, governmental, or regulatory authority requires us to disclose your information.

  • Examples of third parties involved: Competent authorities.
  • Purposes for sharing personal information: Complying with a binding request from a competent authority.

If the operation of the Portal Service, or our business is changed (e.g. merger, transfer, or legal restructuring).

  • Examples of third parties involved: The target entity of the merger or acquisition, legal counsels, and advisors.
  • Purposes for sharing personal information: Enabling a structural change in the operation of the Portal Service, and our business.

Data Retention

By default, we will retain your data for as long as needed to operate the Portal Service, or as long as needed:

  • While you use the Portal Service.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.
  • To resolve disputes, establish, and defend legal claims and enforce our agreements.

Data Security

We implement measures to reduce the risks of damage, loss of information and unauthorized access or use of information, such as physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information. However, these measures do not provide absolute information security. Therefore, although efforts are made to secure your personal information, there is no guarantee that it will be immune from information security risks.

California and Delaware Do Not Track Disclosure

We do not monitor or respond to Do Not Track browser requests. Please ensure to change any settings of your device and/or our Portal Service, whenever you wish cookies to cease.
